I love to play in the kitchen and experiment with recipes.  Today I woke up with a sweet craving and wanted to see what yumminess I can create with ingredients I already have.  

 

Et voila! I present to you my Gluten-Free Banana Chia Seed Cake.

 

 

 

Ingredients

 

  • 4 ripe bananas

  • 1 packet Justin’s chocolate hazelnut butter

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1 cup quinoa flour

  • 1 tbsp agave nectar

  • 2 tbs chia seeds

  • 1 tsp baking powder.  

Directions

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and prepre a cake pan or baking dish with a coconut-oiled piece of parchment paper.  Peel and smash the bananas until fairly smooth. You will have some lumps which is OK. Add the other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour onto baking dish and bake for about 20 minutes.  Allow to cool and dig in!
